About the condo
Unit D101 — beach level, Building D
This is a private corner unit on the ground floor of Building D, the row that sits closest to the water at Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina. The living space runs wall to wall in glass, so the beach is the view from the sofa, from the dining table and from the bed. Step through the doors and you are on the covered patio; step off the patio and you are on the path to the sand.
Inside there is a king bed with a flat-screen TV, a Bassett queen sleeper sofa in the living area with a second TV, a teak dining set for four, and a work station for the mornings you cannot quite escape email. The bathroom was rebuilt with a stone-tiled walk-in shower and a double sink, and comes stocked with plush bath towels, beach towels, toiletries and a hair dryer.
The kitchen is a real kitchen: glass cooktop, convection/microwave oven, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, blender, the pans and utensils you would actually reach for, and the basics you never want to buy on day one — salt, pepper, garlic powder, coffee filters, sweetener and creamer. There is a George Foreman grill on the patio, and a hammock strung up beside it.
